I have another piece of flash fiction live over at Sick Lit Magazine. It’s called, ‘He’d Expected to See Some Blood’. You can read the opening below:

He pries out one of her eyeballs with the tip of a screwdriver and rolls it between his fingers while her good eye stares out at him. He’d expected to see some blood. Maybe if he pushes the screwdriver through it? He considers it for a second before dropping the orb into his pocket to play with later.
